A WORKFLOW YOU CAN FOLLOW
From the first decision to the public link.
01
Outline the first arc
Write the premise and the sequence of events your initial episodes will cover.
02
Prepare individual episodes
Give each part a clear title, readable text and its proper position.
03
Publish the available parts
Keep unfinished episodes out of the public reading sequence.
04
Verify reader navigation
Open the overview and follow the route from episode one to the next.
Make the overview useful
The serial overview should introduce the premise without explaining every future plot point. Tell readers the genre, the starting situation and whether the series is complete or ongoing. Give each episode a meaningful title so the list can be scanned easily. The public serial page shows available episodes and can help readers move through the sequence. A reader who discovers the third episode should still be able to find the beginning instead of guessing where to start.
Plan a sustainable episode rhythm
Outline the first arc before promising a long release schedule. For a mystery, the first episode might introduce a disappearance, the next reveal conflicting evidence and the third change the reader’s understanding of a witness. Each part should advance the story while leaving a reason to continue. Mark upcoming work accurately and avoid promising a date you cannot meet. Proofread every episode independently and check its place in the order before publishing.
Give new readers a starting point
Share the overview link when you introduce the whole serial, and an episode link when you discuss that specific chapter. Use a short, spoiler-conscious description and a relevant category. After publishing, follow the next and previous episode links as a reader would. If you later collect the serial into a PDF, explain whether the ebook contains the same text or a revised edition. Do not describe an unfinished series as a complete book.
